In Lapaorscopic surgery only 0.5 cm to 1 cm incisions are made to introduce instruments in the abdomen and the procedure is performed after inflating carbondioxide gas in to abdomen to provide working space.
Lapaorcospic camera transmits images of the abdomen on to the high resolution monitors in the operating room. This system allows the surgeon to perform the same operations as traditional surgery but with smaller incisions.
